Lordi Albums Is Metal More Popular In Scandinavia Than Pop?

Is Metal More Popular In Scandinavia than Pop? - lordi albums

I noticed that in the Scandinavian countries (notably Norway and Finland), metal strips are very successful, chosen to represent the Eurovision and the top of the charts. The metal is as popular as pop music does not work? Or at least more popular than in most other countries?
For example, Apocalytica Lordi represented Finland at Eurovision, as I understand, sir, dominated the charts in Finland with his two albums and singles, which does not happen where I live in the United Kingdom.

It is a culture of heavy metals in Scandinavia, but the pop is very popular. Perhaps the lack of an urban music scene means "white boy" styles such as metal seem dominant, that the report is very diluted and almost no R & B from Scandinavia.

I think radio dominates the production of music in the United Kingdom, and concentrate on rap, R & B, pop, and tends to make most people in this way. Rock & Metal unconventional by radio play lists to keep them outside.

Depends on how you define "metal", really. Defining No way, I would not say who is more popular than pop, a little more accepted. I do not think that Lordi and Apocalyptica "metal btw. But what can one expect from someone who grew up in the land of black metal? \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt; evil grin>
